There are now 16 miles of scenic pathway for you to enjoy. The trail is surfaced and sweeps gracefully through creekside woods and natural areas, connecting communities and a chain of parks along its course. The trail offers splendid travel opportunities for walkers, joggers, bicyclists, and wheelchair users. It provides a place to exercise, bird-watch, marvel at reminders of the 1997 flood, or simply a quick escape from the noise and bustle of the city. Sounds of the city and traffic are dampened by trees, banks of blackberries, and thickets of willows and cattails. Benches located along the trail offer a place to sit and relax. Here one can find moments of peace and renewal, be cheered by the chirping of birds... or soothed by the song of the creek.
